Kym Martindale, Sheffield
Click on the above link to read Kym’s poem, which has adapted the ‘Throw of the Dice’ experiment to her local railway path footpath in Sheffield, as per the photos below. I’ve attached the poem rather than pasting it here so as to retain the open field page layout as accurately as possible!
In Kym’s words: ‘It's hard - harder than you think - to break linearity. And I couldn't throw the dice, as one of my dogs, Clemo, kept chasing it, thinking I was throwing it for him. So I sought out places to 'leave' the dice, in his pawsteps. Clemo, who is named for a poet, took me to where the dice could be. To where I could be...out of line, all the time.’
